What is the deadline for signatures?
The deadline for a referendum petition calling for repeal of a legislative action is 90 days following the end of the legislative session in which the law was passed. Since the session ended in mid-April, our signatures are due by July 16. However we need to have enough extra signatures on hand in case some are invalidated, so we hope to reach the petition threshhold by the end of the July 4th weekend, giving us a few weeks to finish up. Please turn in whatever you have, notarized, by no later than July 14.
